Worked examples
Learn a responsible reading process that moves from question and symbolism to context, synthesis and practical guidance.
Example 1 — reading “card + focus” in Daily Tarot
Daily Tarot chooses the card through the draw and classifies an optional focus. The focus does not change the card theme; focus_guidance adds a practical layer that connects the theme to the user’s stated focus.
Example 2 — read verdict + reason + action together in Yes/No
If you read only primary_side in Yes/No, you lose the nuance. A complete reading combines answer_key, strength_key, main_reason, improving_condition, main_risk, best_action and timing_tone with the question focus.
Every worked example should expose the “why”
As elsewhere in Academy, Tarot examples follow input → selection/calculation → factors → reasoning → synthesis → interpretation. We do not jump from “Card = Sun” straight to “therefore success.”
Do not disguise a fictional example as a real prediction
Course examples are synthetic and do not use saved private questions, relationship details or financial data. Their purpose is to teach the reasoning method, not to pretend to answer a real user.
Full example — The Sun + work focus
- Input
Fictional Daily focus = “I need to finish a client proposal today”; selected Daily draw index = 0.
- Calculation
Daily index 0 → The Sun; theme_key = clarity. Focus classifier detects work. Current main = clear words, visible priorities and one honest goal; action = choose one thing to finish and review it later.
- Factors to inspect
Inspect the proposal goal, unclear requirement, final approver, evidence/attachments and deadline.
- Reasoning
Do not turn the Sun’s clarity theme directly into “the proposal will succeed.” Apply it to reducing ambiguity and making completion visible in the work context.
- Synthesis
Combine card theme + work focus + the real proposal checklist into practical guidance.
Interpretation: “Instead of adding more words to make the proposal sound impressive, make the goal, requirement, evidence and next action unmistakably clear. If the final approver is unclear, confirm that before submitting.”
