Learn the number and cycle methods AstroOne actually calculates, from formula to interpretation and synthesis.
One birth date produces several different number roles
AstroOne derives Life Path, Birthday, Attitude, personal cycles, Periods, Pinnacles and Challenges from the birth date with different formulas. The same digit can appear in more than one position without meaning that the positions are interchangeable; read the role before the number.
Interpret the number through its role
Modern numerology commonly gives different interpretive jobs to these positions: Life Path as a long-term path, Birthday as a day-of-month talent/context, and Attitude as a month-plus-day approach. Those roles are symbolic interpretive models, not additional arithmetic facts.
What counts as “core” varies by school
Some practitioner schools reserve “core numbers” for Life Path, Birthday and the name-derived Expression/Soul Urge/Personality group. AstroOne Academy instead uses “birth-derived” and “name-derived” as practical teaching labels so learners can follow what the product actually calculates.
Do not turn one position into a complete person
A Life Path or Birthday number by itself is not a complete personality, career, relationship or future forecast. Good synthesis begins by asking what question each position is meant to answer.
Do not mix the 3, 6 and 2 from 1990-05-15

Synthetic birth date = 1990-05-15.
- Calculation
Life Path = 3; Birthday = 15/6; Attitude = 2.
- Factors to inspect
Separate the positions: 3 is Life Path, 6 is the reduced birth day, and 2 is month-plus-day Attitude.
- Reasoning
Interpretation should not dump three keyword lists together; first decide what each position can reasonably contribute.
- Synthesis
Read them as three layers: long-term pattern, a specific birth-day accent, and an initial approach.
The result is not “3+6+2 means this person must be X.” It is a structured reading of three different positions.
